When we South Tyroleans “Feirum lossn”, which means to call it a day, we are drawn to nature because there is no better place where we can relax and re-sort our thoughts than in the fresh air. Just hop on your bike or start hiking across vast, lush meadows, in quiet forests and to secluded lakes – you can do that here in Allgäu, too. Our hotel is located in the middle of an open-air arena that is second to none. From the Happiness Trail, the Lake Circuit, and the Barefoot Trail to the Nature Experience Trail and the Kneipp Forest Trail – head off and discover the many small and large wonders along the way.
Step by step to new strength
Would you rather pedal hard? Bad Wörishofen is the perfect starting point for your bike tour. A network of around 240 kilometres of cycling trails stretches around the Kneipp town. You can rent bikes from us for a daily fee. With an e-bike, you can go to the Lake Schlingen, to Katzbrui Mühle mill, or sightseeing at the Mindelburg castle. Four charging stations are available free of charge in the underground car park. Would you like a little refreshment in between? Bad Wörishofen has an impressive 24 Kneipp (cold water therapy) facilities. Tired legs will quickly perk up again.
Happiness can be found on the golf course
Golfers who book their holiday with us hit a hole-in-one in the truest sense. There are two 18-hole golf courses close to our hotel: the Bad Wörishofen Golf Club in Rieden (10km away) and the Golf Club zu Gut Ludwigsberg in Türkheim (5km away). The best part? Lake Ammersee (52.8km away)
Lake Ammersee is the third largest lake in Bavaria. A 42km circuit trail leads around the lake, which is particularly suitable for cycling tours and walks in the summer months. The lake is especially popular for sailing, surfing, fishing, and rowing.
Lake Starnberg (84.7km away)
Bavaria’s second largest lake is one of the most popular lake destinations in the Munich region. The lakeside promenades invite you to relax with numerous bars, cafés, and restaurants. If you feel like swimming, cycling, walking, or boating, this is the place to be.
Lake Forggensee (53.2km away)
There are numerous cafés, bathing spots, and sunbathing lawns around the lake. Enjoy the wonderful view of Neuschwanstein Castle and the fantastic panorama on a boat trip.
Lake Unterer Gaisalpsee (97.5km away)
Lake Gaisalpsee near Oberstdorf is a beautiful mountain lake and a popular hiking destination in Allgäu.
Lake Weißensee (61.4km away)
The idyllic lake is located near Füssen in Ostallgäu and is one of the cleanest lakes in Allgäu. In summer, the bathing lake is a popular destination and attracts families and Nordic walkers with a six-kilometre circular trail.

Lake Hopfensee, with its unobstructed view of the Allgäu Alps and the royal castles, is also called the “Riviera of Allgäu” and has long lakeside promenades with numerous cafés and restaurants. There are also sunbathing lawns, playgrounds, and boat rentals along the promenades.
