Luis Hillebrand travels through the small province of South Tyrol and seeks out the many small producers who, with great passion, grow tasty products on their farms or in cooperatives that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Luis is now friends with many of them. Once a year, at the largest and most authentic South Tyrolean festival held in Germany around our gourmet hotel in Allgäu, you can also meet the producers yourself and learn more about how the products are made. The most famous South Tyrolean product, the legendary Speck (dry-cured smoked ham), which matures in the typical black smoke chambers, will be served to you as a welcome treat. Along with the Speck platter, we will serve you a glass of sparkling wine.

All these delicacies are served on shingles that come from the roof of the old barn of the “Joselehof” farm in the South Tyrolean valley of Ultental.
